It was a real Livi family reunion at the Energy Assets Arena yesterday when Lions 'old boy' Kyle Jacobs sealed his return by signing a one and a half season deal.

As one of the famous Jacobs brothers, Kyle worked his way through the youth ranks with his sibblings before becoming a regular fixture at the back for the Lions, making his first team debut in February 2009.

However at the end of last season Kyle left us to join Kilmarnock's 2013/14 SPL campaign. But a switch of manager at Rugby Park lead to the inevetable shake-up in personnel there, which has worked out very much to our advantage with his return to Livingston.

With hindsight we should never have let him go last summer, but that said, we're delighted to welcome Kyle home again.
