McGlynn signs new contract

Manager John McGlynn committed his long term future to Livingston FC this evening with the signing of an improved contract.

When John took over as manager in September last year, he agreed a deal to remain at the Energy Assets Arena until the end of the current season.

The Gaffer took the Livi reins with just one point on the board, and his remit was to steady the ship and get the best out of our existing young talent to ensure our continuing place in the SPFL Championship.

Both parties are delighted with the progress made, and John has now penned a new rolling contract which will see him remain in charge of the Lions for the long term.

The Committee behind the Club is fully appreciative of John’s wide-ranging work ethic, including cleaning and maintaining the stadium, fixing the plumbing and inventing his own ice baths - while refusing to take a single day off.

John McGlynn is a true figurehead Livi fans should rally behind as leader and ambassador for our Club and the game of football.
