A fine team performance saw our reserve side four games unbeaten with a 4-1 win over Stenhousemuir on Tuesday night.
Our young side played some excellent football at times on the artificial pitch at Ochilview, particularly in a first half that they dominated for long spells.
Ironically though, only one of the four goals came before the break with Jack Downie creating a third minute tap in for Danny Mullen after showing awareness and persistence to win the ball in the Stenhousemuir penalty area.
Downie grabbed our second goal himself just after half time, driving a beautiful 25-yard shot over Stenny keeper Calum Reidford.
Coll Donaldson had an excellent game at centre back, but also contributed our final two goals, heading a Scott Wilson corner into the net for the third goal before scrambling in number four in the final minute.
Livingston: Jamieson, Tufail, McDonald, Donaldson, Fairman, Downie, Wilson, Beaumont, Mullen, Cummings (Murphy 75), L Gray (Lander 66). Subs not used: Baillie, Hurst
