Midfield maestro Stefan Scougall has been called into the Scotland Under 21 squad for forthcoming international friendlies against USA and Canada in Marbella, Spain.

The 19-year old was officially drafted into the squad by national coach Billy Stark today, along with Hearts duo Kevin McHattie and David Smith.

The call up represents Scougall's first international recognition but is richly deserved after the impressive start he has made to the season in our midfield.

Scotland face the USA on Friday afternoon with the match against Canada following next Monday.
