In a second piece of deadline day business, Spanish defender Jesus Garcia Tena has agreed a one-year contract with the club, subject to international clearance.
The 22-year old has impressed during recent trial appearances against Craigroyston and Kilmarnock, leading to the offer of a deal.
Capable of playing at both right-back and in central defence, Jesus arrives from Italian football, where he played most recently with Lega Pro Prima Divisione (Serie C) side AC Cuneo 1905.
He was originally taken to Italy by Juventus after starting out with Espanyol, CD Sabadell and home town club Terrassa CF in his native Spain.
Jesus is not available for selection for Sunday's game against Falkirk as international clearance has not yet been received from the Italian FA.
