Fasteq extend main sponsorship

Livingston FC today announced that Fasteq will remain the club's main sponsor for the 2012-13 season after they exercising an option to extend their existing agreement.

The deal means that Fasteq's main sponsorship of the club will run into a fourth successive season, continuing a long standing successful commercial partnership.

Based in Linlithgow, Fasteq manage the supply of fasteners and components to the engineering, automotive, aerospace and defence industries.

Their backing has coincided with a highly successful spell for Livingston. After being controversially relegated into the Third Division, the club has battled back with two promotions and last season consolidated its position back in the First Division.

“Fasteq are delighted to continue as main sponsors to Livingston for the new season,” said Rona Haig, Fasteq's Operations Director.

“We have had a very close association with Livingston for many years and we are very proud to maintain our relationship with the team, management, supporters and the local community.
“Watching Livingston grow and develop over the last few years has given us great satisfaction and with the recent innovative appointment of John Hughes and John Collins, we are looking forward to the new season with keen anticipation.

“We're sure that the club will perform successfully again and we're delighted to be playing our part in that.”

Fasteq's decision to extend their sponsorship comes at an important time for Livingston as Scottish football experiences a period of unprecedented uncertainty.

Charles Burnett, Livingston FC's Commercial Director added: “We've had a very positive working relationship with Fasteq over the last few years and I'm delighted that they're back on board for the next year.

“These are testing times for football clubs and businesses in general, so we see this as a real vote of confidence in what we are working hard to achieve at the club.

“This announcement shows that it's very much 'business as usual' at the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium.”
