Beanie staying put

Livingston's week got off to the perfect start this morning with news that influential striker Iain Russell has agreed to extend his Livi stay for another year.

Beanie quickly became a fans' favourite and regular fixture last season before injury forced him onto the sidelines, but his tally of 13 goals still saw him finish as the club's second top hitman.

"I'm absolutely delighted that an agreement has been reached with such a key member of our personnel" said Director of Football, John Collins. "Iain's experience is invaluable, and he'll continue to be a real asset to the Club next season."
