Our Under 19s saw their usual Sunday fixture rescheduled for Friday evening, but there was normal service as far as the result went, as they ran out comprehensive 9-0 winners at Forfar.
Brian Welsh's lads were disappointed after dropping points at home to Airdrie last weekend, but they responded in the best possible way to clinch an emphatic three points at Station Park.
They did, however, have to wait until the second half for the goals to flow.
At the halfway stage, only a Dean Cummings goal separated the sides, but EIGHT strikes after the interval sealed a big win.
Handicapped by going down to ten men due to injury, Forfar had their goalkeeper to thank for preventing an even heavier loss, but nevertheless Cummings completed his hat-trick, a tally matched by Andy Russell.
Ross Gray, Dylan Easton and Ross Docherty also found the net in the second half.
