Livingston U19 6-0 Dundee U19
HT (3 - 0)

Our Under 19 side got their new league season off to the perfect start with a comprehensive 6-0 win over Dundee this afternoon.

Brian Welsh's side controlled the match from start to finish after taking an early lead through centre-back Michael Travis who headed home the first goal after only four minutes.

Liam Gray added the second goal with a powerful drive after 19 minutes and the game was put beyond doubt before half time when Andy Russell finished off a lengthy spell of Livingston possession with a composed strike from close range.

The second half saw no let up in the pressure on a hard-pressed Dundee side that had no answer to the slick passing of our players.

Andy Russell twice showed strength and composure to break through the heart of the Dundee defence to score his second and third goals of the afternoon.

And with twelve minutes remaining, Dean Cummings fired home the sixth goal after another excellent exchange of passes.
