Barr puts pen to paper

Livingston have been given their second boost in as many days as defender Craig Barr follows captain Liam Fox in extending his stay at the Bridwood Motor Company Stadium.

A clearly delighted Chief Executive, Ged Nixon, was equally enthusiastic at Barr committing his future to Livingston till May 2013.

“Craig’s signing following that of Liam Fox yesterday represents another significant piece of business by the club" he said.

"His performances in the centre of defence have been terrific and the partnership formed  with  Paul Watson has proven pivotal in the success of the team this season.

"Gary’s main aim at the end of the season was to try and retain as many of the players who have served him well, and we look forward to having Craig with us over the next couple of years”
