Livingston 1 - 0 Peterhead
HT (0 - 0)

A second half strike from Robbie Winters was enough to secure all 3 points for Livi in yet another tricky game against Peterhead.

The striker met Michael O'Byrne's cross to nod into the top corner from close in after 62 minutes, finally breaking a deadlock marked by some excellent goalkeeping.

Peterhead had gone close on the half-hour mark, with Stuart Anderson finding space in the box to volley David Donald's cross, only for Tony Bullock to produce a brilliant save.

Ten minutes later it was the home side's turn, with Aaron Conway's drilled 35-yard effort forcing an equally impressive stop out of John Bateman.

The home side had enough in the tank to see out the final 30 minutes after Winters' breakthrough, and Alloa's loss at Ayr means Livingston now sit four points clear in the promotion spots.
