Marc McNulty signs extended deal

Livingston FC are delighted to announce that another of its promising young players has agreed an extended contract.

Striker Marc McNulty today signed a new deal which will see him remain a Livingston player until May 2013.

Just seventeen years of age, Marc has made a big impact in the club’s Under 19 side and has in recent months has started to feature at first team level under manager Gary Bollan.

'Sparky' made a scoring debut against Montrose in October and has since added four more substitute appearances to his tally.

Marc's rapid progress and promise for the future led Bollan to move quickly to extend his stay and give him the opportunity to continue his development at Almondvale.

Gary said: "I'm delighted that 'Sparky' has agreed a new deal because he's a bright prospect and a great talent.

"He's started to work his way into first team contention and has performed well when chances have come his way.

"Together with the rest of the backroom staff at the club, I'm looking forward to helping him fulfil his potential over the next few seasons."

Marc, who scored four times in the Under 19 team's 7-0 win over Queen of the South today, added: "I really enjoy being at the club so when the offer of a new contract came I didn't really hesitate to sign.

"I've been pleased to have been involved with the first team and hopefully I'll be able to get a lot more experience of that over the next three years."
