Our reserves won for the sixth time in seven matches last night to ensure that they will top the Reserve League Cup East Section.
A lovely 25-yard strike from Jack Beaumont in the twelth minute was enough for us to defeat Stenhousemuir in a reversed 'home' fixture at Ochilview Park.
The win means that we now have an unassailable seven point lead with our final game against East Fife still to play. That game has been scheduled for next Tuesday night at Creamery Park in Bathgate (kick off 7.30pm).
It appears almost certain that we'll face Queen's Park in the semi final, though they could theoretically overhaul section leaders Rangers with a eight goal win at Murray Park on Thursday night!
