Our reserve team clinched its place in the semi finals of the Reserve League Cup with an excellent 3-1 win over Cowdenbeath at Central Park earlier today.

A young side played very well to overcome a more experienced Cowden side, particularly in the first half.

Connor McDonald scored twice in the win with Andy Russell also on the mark.

The win means that we lead the East Section of the Reserve League Cup and are guaranteed to finish no lower than second.

A win over Stenhousemuir at Ochilview in our penultimate match on Tuesday would make sure that we progress as section winners. That match is an 8pm kick off.
