Our Under 19s were denied a victory when Queen's Park equalised with the last kick of the ball on the Fieldturf tonight.
The Glasgow side snatched a point in the dying seconds, just moments after the scorer of our second goal, Liam Gray, was sent off for a second yellow card.
Queen's scored first in what was a robustly contested first half, but we got ourselves level through a 36th minute penalty by Jack Beaumont after a Queen's defender was penalised for handball.
After the break we got in front when a near post corner from Gray sneaked in, possibly with the assistance of a defender.
That looked like being the winner, before the visitors produced a stunning lobbed shot which sailed over Mark Hurst and into the net.
The draw leaves second place in West Section of the League Cup up for grabs. We trail Queen's Park by three points, but know that four points from our final two games will guarantee qualification for the semi final stage.
The first of those is on Sunday afternoon when we face Airdrie United in a 4pm kick off at the Fieldturf.
Livingston: Hurst, Tufail, McDonald, Fairman, Rutherford, Beaumont (Davie), Wilson (Clark), Murphy, Lander (Hunter), Downie, L Gray.
Subs not used: Black, Dickson
