Win copies of new Scottish football book

The behind the scenes story of our legendary 2004 CIS Cup win is re-told in a new book called 'Scottish football - It's not all about the Old Firm'.

The book has been written by Daily Express sports writer Scott Burns and covers every non-Rangers and Celtic triumph from the 1980s up to the present day.

It recalls some of Scottish football's greatest triumphs through the words and memories of the managers, players, coaches and directors who helped their respective clubs to make history.

Cup-winning captain Stuart Lovell joins Livi legends like Lee Makel, Burton O'Brien, David McNamee, Jamie McAllister, Emmanuel Dorado, Derek Lilley and Allan Preston, to give a unique into one of the most harrowing but successful seasons in the club's history.

Preston tells of his secret spying mission to get the inside track on Hibs while Lee Makel recalls his disastrous Hampden build-up that saw him knock down a tramp and then hearing the bombshell news that he had lost his father-in-law the night before the game.

Captain Lovell tells how he ended up quids in after some illegal betting on Livi, who slept with the cup and who did the Mike Bassett England manager jig back at Almondvale.

All is uncovered in 'Scottish football - It's not all about the Old Firm' and we have THREE copies to give away!

To have a chance of winning one, simply answer the following question:

Which current SFL Third Division club did we defeat in the first step in our CIS Cup run?

Send your answer, together with your name and postal address, to competition@livingstonfc.co.uk no later than 6pm on Thursday, February 28. Three winners will be selected at random from all correct entries received.
