U19: Livingston 2-0 Stranraer

Despite losing Ross Docherty in the first half, our Under 19s chalked up an important 2-0 win over Stranraer on Sunday afternoon.

After losing out to Hamilton in their first section match, getting a result against the Galloway side was imperative.

The dismissal of Docherty for allegedly using foul and abusive language looked set to make that task considerably harder, however a solid team performance saw us come away with all three points.

Danny Mullen grabbed our first goal on the stroke of half time, beating the Stranraer keeper with a fine header.

The win was sealed in the 61st minute with Jack Beaumont converting from the spot to net our second goal.
