Goals from Danny Mullen and Cammy Young got our reserves' League Cup campaign off to the perfect start against Stenhousemuir on Tuesday night.

Stenhousemuir opened the scoring on Ochilview's artificial pitch, but we soon hit back when Danny Mullen produced a terrific finish after being picked out by the returning Jason Talbot.

Mullen hit the bar during a second half which saw two Stenhousemuir players red carded, but it eventually fell to sub Cammy Young to net what proved to be the winning goal.

In addition to Talbot, who played ninety minutes, Ross Docherty took a step back to full fitness with an hour long appearance in midfield.

Paul Watson was another to play the full match as we gave a French trialist goalkeeper a run out.
