Essential road works are now underway on Alderstone Road which may result in delays for supporters travelling by car to matches at the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium for forthcoming matches, including Saturday's home fixture with Raith Rovers.

A new junction is being installed to provide access to a new housing development which is under construction on the opposite side of Alderstone Road from the Stadium and the Lidl supermarket.

Several service diversions, road widening, new traffic light installation and final surfacing works are required and to facilitate this, several phases of temporary traffic lights will be in place throughout the construction period.  Weather permitting, the road works are likely to take several weeks to complete.

We would strongly recommend that supporters allow extra time for their journey to the Stadium for the duration of the works.

We have been advised that Lothian and Borders Police will be on hand to assist in traffic control at the end of Saturday's match to allow as safe and as speedy an exit from the Stadium as possible.
