Our reserve side notched up a good win against East of Scotland League side Craigroyston in Edinburgh yesterday evening.
Largely composed of young players, but with a trialist left-back on show, our side got off to a poor start, falling behind to an early Alan Wilson goal for the home side.
But they battled back quickly, firstly to level through Jamie Collins, before Jack Beaumont prodded a Liam Gray near post corner home to give us a half time lead.
After the break, a number of our Under 17 players were introduced to the action and we continued to play some attractive stuff on the impressive St Mark's Park surface.
Dean Cummings netted our third goal with a powerful angled drive before midfielder Jack Downie rounded off the scoring with a shot from a tight angle that a Craigroyston defender just failed to clear on the line.
Livingston: Jamieson (Hurst), Cummings, Trialist (Baillie), Fairman (McDonald), Donaldson, Murphy (Young), Wilson, Downie, Collins, Beaumont (Tufail), L Gray
