Our management team of John Collins and John Hughes are running the rule over two French trialists as the squad's pre-season preparations continue.

The unnamed players - one midfielder, one striker - flew over to Scotland in the latter part of last week, although a minor injury prevented the latter from taking part in training until today.

Both have played most recently in Switzerland, but are now on the look out for a new club.

Pre-season training is continuing apace - today saw the squad take part in another tough double session.

Our first friendly action is now just over a week away when we face Swiss side FC Concordia at Grangemouth Stadium next Wednesday afternoon.
