Second 'old boy' returns

A second Livi old boy has returned to Almondvale today, with the news that striker Jim Hamilton has re-signed for Livingston.

Recently relased by Partick Thistle, Hamilton has agreed to re-join Livingston on a short term deal until the end of the season.

A firm favourite with the Livingston fans, Hamilton scored 7 goals in 25 games during his previous spell at Almondvale during the 2004-05 season, before moving onto Motherwell in January 2005.

Known as 'Flipper' during his Livi days, Hamilton brings a wealth of experience to the club.

In addition to his spells with Livi, Partick and Motherwell, the much travelled striker has also turned out for both Dundee clubs, Aberdeen, St Mirren, Dunfermline and Hearts during a senior career spanning 16 years.

The 33 year old will be available for selection in today's game against Queen's Park and Gary Bollan expressed his delight in having added another new face to his squad this morning.

He said: "Jim is an experienced player and he can bring a new dimension to our play, which could prove vital in the second half of the season."
