Livingston U19s 2-1 Montrose U19s

Livi's Under 19s cast aside an early set back to beat Montrose 2-1 in a keenly contested game at Almondvale.

The visitors took a surprise lead with barely two minutes on the clock, but Brian Welsh's young side soon found themselves back on level terms when Sean Kerr converted in the six-yard box after an intelligent ball in from Andy Halliday.

The winning goal came three minutes into the second half, when Neil Hastings got a touch to Sheldon Jacobs' cross ball.

Livi could have added to their score in the second half, put some good goalkeeping and poor finishing combined to ensure that the hard working Montrose side were in the game until the end.

Livingston: Jamieson, Welsh, D. Jacobs, Fordyce, Hastings, Cummings, Halliday, Torrance, Kerr (Mukundwa), McNulty, S. Jacobs.
