Back to where we belong!
When the Scottish Football League took their decision to demote our club to the Third Division in 2009, our objective was simple – to get back to where we belong as quickly as possible.
We were set an extremely tough task to rebuild and climb back up the divisions but thanks to the hard work, dedication and commitment of staff, players, supporters and the local community, back-to-back league championships have been won.
We can be rightly proud of the progress we’ve made in the last two years - and the fact that we have managed to reclaim a place in the Irn Bru First Division for the 2011-12 campaign.
It’s not so long ago that Livingston FC was making headlines for all the wrong reasons and although there is work still to do to repair the damage done in the past, we are once again being seen as positive sporting ambassadors for our town and West Lothian as a whole.
Local businesses like Fasteq and the Braidwood Motor Company have shown their faith in our progress by forging strong commercial partnerships with us.
And local people have been coming back to see our exciting young team in increased numbers, with attendances up by more than a quarter year-on-year, bucking the trend in Scottish football as whole.
Starting in late July, the new season will provide us with a whole set of brand new challenges as we face up to some of the most famous and well established football clubs in Scotland.
As has been the case over the last two years, every Livi supporter has a crucial part to play in helping the club meet those challenges head on.
Last year we introduced a new, innovative membership scheme which has been a great success, with many supporters taking advantage of our value added Gold and Platinum packages.
This year we’ve added new features and discounts to all our packages and have developed an all-new Family Membership in which one child goes free with every paying adult in the South Stand for home league matches and additional children can see eighteen games for just £25.
With our promise to build a sustainable financial future for the club in mind, our pricing has been revised to take account of our promotion to the First Division. Nevertheless, we believe that our Membership packages remain competitive, attractive and cost effective through their substantial saving on walk-up admission prices of £17 for adults and £7 for children and senior citizens.
And to help spread the cost of your 2011-12 Club Membership, we are once again offering the option of paying in instalments over the summer period.
Whichever one of our new packages you chose, we look forward to welcoming you back to the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium for what is set to be an exciting season.
By renewing your Membership or becoming a Member for the first time, you will help to ensure that Livingston FC has the best possible chance of continued success back where it belongs - in the Irn Bru First Division.
